A one-size-fits-all model simply has no place in our organisation. We follow a 70-20-10 rule. This means the 70% of skill development comes through experience, 20% exposure and 10% education. We draw on a range of tools, training sessions and other means to ensure personal and professional growth. These include: 
  • On-the-job actions: specific projects, international assignments, job swaps… 
  • People: Coaching sessions, mentoring programs, exposure to regional and global leaders, role models, learning from peers, 360 degree feedback (allowing employees to receive feedback from managers, peers and customers but also allowing employees to feedback themselves). 
  • Technical training: risk underwriting, marketing, sales, finance, IT... 
  • Soft skills training: communication, leadership, change-management, and diversity…

The Academy offers a competency focused, flexible, and cutting-edge suite of programs to develop new skills or refine existing expertise in the areas of Leadership and Management Skills, Business Acumen, Communication & Collaboration, Personal Effectiveness and Business Strategy along with long-term Talent Development programs
